  • The Dark Side Of Giving Pocket Money

Children shouldn't be given money at such young ages(ages till 14). Instead, they should learn the value of money and should also learn to work hard to earn it. Otherwise at young ages, due to the demanding nature of children, they might even misuse the given money for useless purposes.

  • Avoid spoon feeding!!

I think that children should not be given pocket money . If they ask for many things from their parents , then why not for money when needed ? They can ask for money from their parents whenever required . Moreover , everything should not be served for them in the plate by their parents . So they must try to understand the importance of earning money and not ask for it from their parents .
It also creates a burden on the parents because first they have look after their monthly expenditure . Moreover it becomes very difficult for them to give pocket money to their wards .I would like to conclude that children should grow up , stand on their feet and earn money themselves .

  • No children should not get pocket money

As i yash saini would like to say that no children should not get pocket money as they dont know the value of the money ,the parents who allow them are surly careless. Therefore from my side it should be ceesed .Thank you and please ceesed this all things we do.

  • Try to work hard

Children should be not given money$$ as they think that 'we can buy everything with ease' as they wouldn't understand the value of money and how much hard work and efficiency is needed to earn a single rupee(I am an Indian so rupee)and when they grow up they will face difficulties later in life...............

  • Kids shouldnt get pocket money

The reason I believe this is because our parents do many chores around the house everyday and they don't get paid to do them. In the end kids are part of the family and a family should all do chores. Kids should be doing chores everyday without having to be asked and not having to moan about it, because if our parents had to do all of the chores around the house they wouldn't have time to work which would bring the result of not being paid, then not being able to pay bills and then kids wouldn't have a house to live in, so kids should help with everyday chores so our parents don’t have to do so many and they can have some time to put their feet up and relax.

  • What is the need of taking pocket money

In my view there is no need to give pocket money to children because they are not knowing the value of the money which his/her parents has earn by working day and night. And many people think children can handle themselves with that some money but according to me in children's live most important is what their studies and this habit will destroy their future as with that money whenever they can buy any stupid toys which is not necessary for them and after time these toys became useless for them that is they never look back at them after some time.So that is being wasted ,therefore i Nihaal Sahay would like to insist all parents who give pocket money to their ward that instead of this they save this money for them for future in bank or any other place.
And i would like to tell if you like my message please give me like

  • NO WAY It SHOULD NOT

There is a limit to how much they should be given. However, there are a dozen or more reasons why the parents should not give money to their children. Children are naive and know little about the real world and how people might behave in society. It would be a good opportunity for bad people who might intend to steal children's money. Losing money is not a big deal, but in some cases they might be put the children into a harmful situation by risking their lives because of a little money. Additionally, children may spend money without hesitation on meaningless stuff such as toys, games and other useless things. These things would take up their time instead of them studying or reviewing their lessons after class. By accident, children could build up a bad habit of spending more money than they earn. They might get used to spending more and more as they grow up because they never knew how difficult it is to earn money. This will increase their demands .They will misuse that money and may also go on the wrong path. They start spending the money carelessly. They should realize the importance of money. Money is very precious. They should learn that it is very difficult to earn money. With no supervision, a child might get into trouble in matters of money. Kids will buy things without asking their parents and when parents will get to know this they can stop giving pocket money. Children will argue for pocket money and there will be a fight between children and parents. Children shouldn't be given money at such young ages. Instead, they should learn the value of money and should also learn to work hard to earn it. Never give pocket money to a child below fifteen as they can be into drugs as today's generations are so into drugs and all. If the child is not into drugs and you are giving pocket money to your child, the friends of your child must be into drugs and they will see that your child is carrying money, they will start tacking your child and one day he will also be addicted to drugs. School going children are under the protection of parents or guardians hence there is no extra need of carrying money.

  • Donating Money to Charity Essay

In this donating money to charity essay for IELTS you have two sides of an argument to discuss.

You can identify the two different arguments from the words "Some people prefer..." and "Others however prefer...".

So you need to make sure you discuss both of these views, and of course say what you personally think: "...and give your own opinion."

    This is the question:

Some people prefer to provide help and support directly to those in need. Others however prefer to give money to national and international charitable organisations.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In this donating money to charity essay, the writer presents the first argument in the first body paragraph, the next argument in the second, then their personal opinion in the conclusion.

This is a logical and simple way to do it but of course if can be approached in slightly different ways (check out some of the other "discuss two opinion" model essays to see other ways).

Now take a look at the model answer.

    Donating Money to Charity Essay

    Model Answer

Giving money to those in need can be a personally satisfying experience, but there is a choice between donating nationally and internationally through charities or giving directly to those around you. This essay will consider the merits of both approaches.

The first advantage of providing direct support is that you can know exactly how your money is being spent. For example, if you give money directly to people in your local village or town, you can see where it has gone. When you donate to larger charitable organisations, on the other hand, you are not sure how much will actually be given to those in need as opposed going on other costs such as administration and expensive marketing campaigns. Another benefit is that you can see the impacts on those you are helping, which can lead not only to great personal satisfaction but also to respect from others in the local community who appreciate the work you do.

There are advantages, however, in giving to charities that are national and international. First and foremost there is the choice of good causes. Locally the kinds of places to help may be limited, but in larger organisations you can get involved in such activities as sponsoring a child or conserving wildlife. Not only this, donating to larger charities with an international reach means having the knowledge that you are involved in issues of fundamental global importance, such as curing diseases and human rights, or helping those caught up in tragic environmental events, such as flooding, earthquakes and famines.

In conclusion, given the benefits of both, I would argue that an individual should make their own choice based on their personal preferences and whichever provides them with the most personal satisfaction. What is crucial is that we continue to give to those who are more in need than ourselves.
